Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used and protected when you visit www.purra.fr (the “Site”) or make a purchase on it. Data controller: PURRA (PURRASCENTS LLC), contact@purra.fr.

Information we collect

Device Information: when you visit the Site, we collect certain information about your device (browser, IP address, time zone, cookies installed), as well as about the pages and products you view and how you interact with the Site. This information is only collected for audience measurement or advertising purposes after you have given your consent.

Order Information: when you make a purchase, we collect your name, billing and shipping addresses, email address, phone number and payment information (bank cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal). Payment information is encrypted and processed by our payment providers; we never have access to it in clear text.

Cookies and trackers

We distinguish between two families of trackers, which are subject to different rules.

Strictly necessary trackers, set without consent because they are essential to the operation of the store: _session_id and _secure_session_id (session), cart (shopping cart, 2 weeks), _shopify_visit and _shopify_uniq (strictly internal traffic measurement), localization (remembers your country and language), as well as the security and load-balancing cookies of the Shopify platform.

Audience measurement and advertising trackers, set only after your consent: Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads (audience measurement and advertising performance), Meta / Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest (advertising pixels and conversion measurement), and Loox (display of customer reviews and their photos).

Your consent, and how to withdraw it

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline these trackers. Declining is as simple as accepting, in a single click. No non-essential tracker is set before you make your choice, and declining has no impact on your browsing, on the prices shown, or on the processing of your order.

You can change your decision at any time from this same banner, or by writing to us at contact@purra.fr. Your choice is kept for six months: after this period, you will be asked again. Trackers have a maximum lifespan of thirteen months, and the data derived from them is kept for a maximum of twenty-five months.

Your browser settings can complement these choices, but they do not replace them: declining is done through our banner.

Use of your information

We use Order Information to process your purchases (payment, shipping, invoices and confirmations), communicate with you, assess fraud risks, and, if you have consented, send you communications about our products and news. We use Device Information to secure the Site, improve how it works and, subject to your consent, measure the performance of our campaigns.

Sharing your information

We share your information only with the providers necessary for the service: Shopify (store hosting), our carriers for delivery, our payment providers, and, strictly within the limits of your consent, Google, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and Loox for audience measurement, advertising and customer reviews. We may also disclose information to comply with a legal obligation. We never sell your personal data.

Your rights

European Union and European Economic Area (GDPR): you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction of processing and objection regarding your personal data. To exercise them, write to us at contact@purra.fr; we reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr) or the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

United Kingdom: your rights arise under the UK GDPR and PECR; the competent authority is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Switzerland: processing is governed by the Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP). You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, exercisable at contact@purra.fr, and may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (edoeb.admin.ch).

Your information may be transferred outside Europe, in particular to Canada and the United States, in connection with the hosting of the store and the tools mentioned above.

Data retention

Information relating to your orders is kept for as long as necessary to fulfil our legal and accounting obligations, unless you request its deletion. The periods applicable to trackers are set out above.
